Study Abroad Italy automatically provides all students with an HTH Worldwide Insurance "Health Select Overseas Policy". Before your departure, you will receive an email explanation of benefits, as well as instructions on how to print your ID card from HTH and an "HTH (HM LIFE) Authorization Form". This form must be completed, signed and returned to the Study Abroad Italy Office prior to departure.

| NOTE: Students 49 and under are eligible for this coverage. For students 50 to 64 years of age, the rate of coverage is significantly higher; therefore coverage is an OPTION. If you make the choice to be covered you will pay an additional $113.00 per month for the term of study. Your other option is to purchase the Italian student national health plan, INA Assitalia, upon your arrival in Italy at approximately $70.00/semester. If you choose the option of the INA Assitalia plan, SAI will also automatically enroll you in BETA "Basic Emergency Travel Assistance" and SAI will cover the fee for the BETA policy.
